I was miffed this morning when the KPFA's 8:00am news came on. It was filled with violence, death, drama, trauma and sadness. Nothing new about that, right? For some reason, all the bad news has been bothering me more lately. Maybe because it seems that there's no good news published to offset the bad news? I know there're some sweetness-and-light sites that publish just nice things. That's fine, if you're a nice person. I'm not always that nice, though.
In this journal, however, I do plan to post random nice, interesting and intrepid happenings in our community. So please feel free to email good schtuff to me, or respond to my posts with the info. I will shortly write a feel-good post that's hopefully not *too* boring. So, to anyone reading this, bring on the perky, community niceness! Not-so-niceness is ok, too, if it's interesting and fun. Keep it local, keep it true.
